They can be bought up to a decent shooter without much expense. l would probably suggest a closer look at your current 22LR or a bolt action like Marlin, Norinco, CZ or similar. 22 bullets as the 223 can handle a bit heavier projectiles. As mentioned above, you could get better results with cast. Get my Ruger,That would be a fair reason. So to me it made sense to give it a little go and not annoy the locals in the meantime before.

I thought his would make a great small pest gun with nice and quiet subsonic ammo and I don't need the full power of a 223 to dispatch the small stuff.
